Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Why is this game so hard for me to wrap my head around? I tried playing it a few years ago and bounced off of it, but I haven’t been able to let go. I picked it up again over the holiday break and I think it is going better (but I’m really not sure).
Thoughts:
- I’m bad at parrying
- The first time I played I wasn’t prepared for stealth
- I was used to Dark Souls, where I think it makes more sense to balance offense and defense, where Sekiro seems to be much more about aggressive offense
- I think this game just really wants to be played a particular way, that I am not enjoying. It’s a shame, I think its an amazing game, I just don’t think it is for me.
